Week 16! Christmas Slate

Happy Holidays to all my friends, near and far!

Went 11-5 last week. Panthers just keep rolling.  That inevitable Cardinals/Panthers clash will be amazing in the playoffs.

Shoutout to all the people still playing in their fantasy football playoffs.

Thursday December 24th!

(NFL) Chargers (4-10) at Raiders (6-8) - I just can't imagine how the Chargers became so terrible. I mean the signs have been there. Limping into the playoffs barely each season. But 4-10 with two games to play, didn't imagine it. Now they go into a potential Los Angeles contender's home and probably will suffer a beatdown to ensure they get that top 3 pick. Raiders 37, Chargers 13

Saturday December 26th!

(NFL) Redskins (7-7) at Eagles (6-8) - The Redskins can lock up the playoffs with an Eagles and Giants loss this week. They have proven to be the best of the worst division, but I think the Eagles sneak in and get a win. Eagles 24, Redskins 21

Sunday December 27th!

(CBS) Patriots (12-2) at Jets (9-5) - Sorry, Jets fans, The Patriots tend not to lose games against you often. This week, no different. Patriots 31, Jets 10

(CBS) Texans (7-7) at Titans (3-11) - The Texans can claim a spot in the playoffs with a win, and a Colts loss. This is probably the second worst division and one that no one is worried about in the playoffs. The Titans can secure a second straight top two pick this week. Texans 24, Titans 10

(CBS) Browns (3-11) at Chiefs (9-5) - The Chiefs are all business right now. 8 straight wins or something like that. Hottest team in the league. They will most likely get beat in the playoffs, but for now, this team is winning. The Browns, oh the Browns. Top 3 pick looming in the draft. Chiefs 27, Browns 20

(FOX) Colts (6-8) at Dolphins (5-9) - The Colts lack a lot. Not just QB play, but several key positions they need to address in the offseason. Dolphins should have a good week. Dolphins 19, Colts 14

(FOX) 49ers (4-10) at Lions (5-9) - Lions, after a terrible start, are no longer in the running for a top 5 pick, top 10, but not top 5. The 49ers however, are terrible and need a new team. Lions should have another high scoring output this week. Lions 38, 49ers 13

(FOX) Cowboys (4-10) at Bills (6-8) - Well Cowboys fans, this is what happens when your backup QB situation is the equivalent of a busted seat on a merry go round. Everyone thinks they can step in and ride it. Nope. No one. Every backup QB sucks. Dallas needs to address this via the draft, they will have a top 5 pick, so address it. Bills, I expected so much more out of you. Bills 27, Cowboys 13

(FOX) Bears (5-9) at Buccaneers (6-8) - Lovie Smith versus his former team, at home. Yeah, sorry Bears. I expect a beatdown. Buccaneers 34, Bears 10

(FOX) Panthers (14-0) at Falcons (7-7)- Falcons suck, 15-0 panthers. All three fans and now 700 bandwagon fans can now rejoice. Panthers 31, Falcons 10

(CBS) Steelers (9-5) at Ravens (4-10) - Ravens, are just like, terrible. Steelers 35, Ravens 3

(CBS) Jaguars (5-9) at Saints (5-9) - Honestly, two teams heading in opposite directions. The Saints are regressing, while the Jaguars are improving. I expect it to be a shootout, since both teams have crappy defenses. Jaguars 34, Saints 31

(FOX) Rams (6-8) at Seahawks (9-5) - Seahawks are on a tear, but to be honest, lots of Seahawks fans jumped off the bandwagon with their "Oh we suck, we won't make the playoffs" mentality in weeks 4-8. Don't lie, a lot of you did. Seahawks 24, Rams 20

(FOX) Packers (10-4) at Cardinals (12-2) - Cardinals are on a tear, and the Packers, after their shaky 3 losses in 5 games stretch have been solid as well. It's the Cardinals year, they are ruling the NFC outside of the Panthers. Good chance to see how they measure up against one of the better teams in the NFL. Cardinals 27, Packers 17

(NBC) Giants (6-8) at Vikings (9-5) - Doesn't mean much to the Giants if the Redskins win this week. Vikings can take one step closer to getting the final wildcard spot. They should beat the poly Giants. Vikings 34, Giants 20

Monday December 27th!

Bengals (11-3) at Broncos (10-4) - Broncos need to bounce back, they won't get the number two seed in the AFC without a win here. Osweiler, for all he's been, might not be enough against the Bengals defense. Bengals 27, Broncos 24

Happy Holidays to all of you!

Week 15

First off, Happy Star Wars Day to all my fellow friends who love it as much as I do.

8-8 last week. UGH. Double up.
Ugh.
Ugh.

Admittedly, I didn't watch much football last week. I had rehearsal for a play i'm in. This week, is the actual play, so no football at all.

Week 15!

Thursday December 17th

(NFL) Buccaneers (6-7) at Rams (5-8) - Raise  your hands if you though the Bucs would have 6 wins this season? No stop lying. No one did. Not with a rookie QB. But, there they are. 6 wins. Rams, they have regressed from last season. I thought they would be better. Sure, QB play sucks, but they have great pieces on offense and defense. Speaking of, their defense is pretty decent. They should give Winston fits all night. Rams 27, Bucs 20

Saturday December 19th

(NFL) Jets (8-5) at Cowboys (4-9) - A rare Saturday game that sees the surging Jets roll into Dallas and drop bombs on a Cowboys team that has been out of it since Romo first went down. If they had a decent backup, that wouldn't be the case. But, here they are, terrible and stupid. The Jets are fighting for a playoff berth, and this seems like one of those trap games that they  must win against a hungry Dallas team. It will be a close one. Jets 24, Dallas 20

Sunday December 20th

(FOX) Bears (5-8) at Vikings (8-5) - If the Vikings want to either win the division or get the Wildcard, they have to win two of their next three games or they will be like the Eagles last season. 10 wins, and sitting at home. I think AP has one of those games where he wrecks the defense. Vikings 31, Bears 21

(FOX) Falcons (6-7) at Jaguars (5-8)  - For the first time in a long time, I can't believe I'm going to pick the Jaguars. They play pretty good and in a year or so, they will be challenging in what will become a tough AFC South. Jaguars 34, Falcons 17

(CBS) Texans (6-7) at Colts (6-7) - in what could be the defacto winner take all game, the Texans (crap QB play) and the Colts (just as crappy) come into this game and decide who wins the South Division. Both have a shot, the Colts might have the edge because of Hassleback. Watts and his broken hand really don't matter much in this matchup. Colts 17, Texans 13

(FOX) Panthers (13-0) at Giants (6-7) - The Giants always seem to rise up when it matters. It's a home game, and I think the Giants edge them out. Giants 20, Panthers 17

(CBS) Titans (3-10) at Patriots (11-2) - Patriots, now with out Blount, are still great with Gronk. Titans, have a long way to go. I think that the Patriots roll up the Titans. Patriots 35, Titans 10

(FOX) Bills (6-7) at Redskins (6-7) - Bunch of jackasses standing in a circle. Pretty much describes both teams. Both could and should be better, but both play like a bunch of dumbasses. Redskins can win, because they are leading a crap division right now. Cousins is playing like he wants to be a starter. Bills should help smother their aspirations this week.  Bills 28, Redskins 24

(CBS) Chiefs (8-5) at Ravens (4-9) - After a crap start, the Chiefs are in the Wildcard hunt. Kind of a dangerous team. Decent offense, defense that plays out of their minds. They should shut down a terrible Ravens team, easily. Chiefs 42, Ravens 10

(FOX) Browns (3-10) at Seahawks (8-5) - Mike. Oh Mike Pettine. Why did you have to talk shit about Russell Wilson. He will drop 4 td's on your crap team this week. Seahawks 38, Browns 10

(FOX) Packers (9-4) at Raiders (6-7) - Packers have to win if they want to secure the division, especially if the Vikings lose. I think the Raiders are going to have a dogfight with them. One of those games where they keep cutting in to bring you highlights. Packers 42, Raiders 34

(CBS) Broncos (10-3) at Steelers (8-5) - Broncos with a loss to the Steelers last week, all but locked up the second seed. They have to win games against the Steelers, can Osweiler step up? Yeah he can. But the defense needs to step up, too. I see a close game. Broncos 20, Steelers 17

(CBS) Dolphins (5-8) at Chargers (3-10) - Warm day in San Diego, a Dolphins team who can score. A Chargers team heading for an offseason with 5000 more questions than answers, I can see the Dolphins helping them secure a top 3 pick. Dolphins 27, Chargers 13

(CBS) Bengals (10-3) at 49ers (4-9) - The Bengals, now without Andy Dalton for a while, still have a decent backup in AJ McCarron. Perfect game to show his talents, because the 49ers are a pile of dog crap in uniforms. Bengals 31, 49ers 7

(NBC) Cardinals (11-2) at Eagles (6-7) - The Cardinals can lock up that #1 seed with a win. They have to go into Filthadelphia and beat an Eagles team who can still win the Crap NFC East. Both teams are fighting for something, but the Cardinals have a better overall team, and leadership structure. I can imagine this is a game they are eager to play. Lock up the seed they need. Cardinals 24, Eagles 13

Monday December 21st

(ESPN) Lions (4-9) at Saints (5-8) - Neither team has anything to play for. The ol our season is over, but both teams can light up the scoreboard. Let's hope for an exciting Monday night game. Lions 41, Saints 38

Happy Week 15 and Happy Star Wars the Force Awakens Day!

NFL Week 13

Week 13 is upon us! 9-7 last week, ugh.

Thursday December 3rd, 2015

(NFL) Packers (7-4) at Lions (4-7) - The Packers are not playing well having lost 4 out of their last 5, even losing to the lowly Lions during that span. I don't know what's going on with Green Bay, I had them as a Super Bowl pick, but the way they are playing, not going to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions won. Sorry, Packers. Lions 27, Packers 21

A Moment of silence for the lives lost on December 6, 1941.

Sunday December 6th

Battle for New York

(CBS) Jets (6-5) at Giants (5-6) - Both teams had playoff hopes, now they have been severely dashed in this race for the championship. The Jets are facing an uphill battle in a tough AFC, while the Giants, if they don't win the NFC East, are out. Giants squeak one out. Giants 20, Jets 17

(FOX) Cardinals (9-2) at Rams (4-7)  - The Last time these two teams met, the Rams handed the Cardinals their first loss. The way the Cardinals are playing, I don't see history repeating itself. Carson Palmer should have a good day with three TD passes. Cardinals 31, Rams 20

(FOX) Falcons (6-5) at Buccaneers (5-6) - Falcons have done their usual midseason collapse. Start hot, cool off, suck it up. Bucs are a year away from being good. They should beat up the Falcons. Bucs 24, Falcons 17

(FOX) Seahawks (6-5) at Vikings (8-3) - The only way for Seattle to make the playoffs is as a wildcard, who coincidentally they are fighting with the NFC North for a playoff spot. This is a must win game for both teams. The Vikings can put some distance between them and the Packers, and the Seahawks can try and get back to the Playoffs. On the road, I don't like Seattle. I'll take a close Vikings wins. Vikings 17, Seahawks 13

(CBS) Texans (6-5) at Bills (5-6) - Bills suck. There, I said it. They have no offensive identity. The defense is a joke. Texans won't win on the road here in a cold Buffalo, but I don't expect the Bills to play that great either. Bills 20, Texans 14

(CBS) Ravens (4-7) at Dolphins (4-7) - Really thought that the Dolphins would be better, but nope. Poorly built team that has costly turnovers. Ravens, without Flacco, I don't even know who the backup is. Oh well. Dolphins score a win. Dolphins 34, Ravens 10

(FOX) Bengals (9-2) at Browns (2-9) - As usual, the Browns are fighting for the number one pick. This new QB should help them stay there. I expect the Bengals to beat them down. Bengals 41, Browns 13

(CBS) Jaguars (4-7) at Titans (2-9) - Titans are bad. I mean they were bad last year, but this year they might actually own the number one spot. Improving on their terribleness from last year. Just tank. Jaguars 27, Titans 10

(FOX) 49ers (3-8) at Bears (5-6) - Neither team has anything to play for. The 49ers can still claim that number one spot, but they have to lose. This will give them a chance to draft their number one QB. Bears 31, 49ers 27

(CBS) Broncos (9-2) at Chargers (3-8) - The Chargers are in that trio of potential first picks overall. the Broncos are riding high, they dispatched the Patriots with Osweiler. Kid has a bright future. They can stay in the hunt for a top 2 seed. Broncos 34, Chargers 10

(CBS) Chiefs (6-5) at Raiders (5-6) - Chiefs have been playing great, and the Raiders have too, But the Chiefs are on the next level right now after an abysmal start to the season. Raiders are a year away, but they can make a statement by beating the Chiefs. I expect a classic AFC West showdown. Raiders 24, Chiefs 20

(FOX) Panthers (11-0) at Saints (4-7) - The Panthers, all due respect, are the best team right now. They've had a couple of close calls. The Saints, well they suck, but division game, hostile environment. I really think that the Saints can give them a game. Panthers 27, Saints 24

(FOX) Eagles (4-7) at Patriots (10-1) - Yeah, the Patriots won't lose two in a row. Although that seems to be the trend with teams that lose. The Packers lost a few in a row. Broncos, too. See also, Bengals. Patriots won't. Cause the Eagles suck. Patriots 34, Eagles 20

(NBC) Colts (6-5) at Steelers (6-5)- Hassleback seems to be playing out of his mind, elevating the Colts to a level Luck was unable to do. Steelers are okay, Big Ben is hobbled, and their team isn't as great as it was. The Steelers and Colts should have a low scoring game. Steelers 17, Colts 13

MONDAY~

(ESPN) Cowboys (3-8) at Redskins (5-6) - The Cowboys suck, haha. So true. Yeah they have QB issues, but the big problem is, they don't have a viable backup. Redskins have spurts where they are good and I can see them dropping a bomb on Dallas. Redskins 31, Cowboys 13

Week 12, Thanksgiving!!!

My favorite holiday is upon us. No not Christmas, Thanksgiving. A chance to be with family, to eat until you can't walk. It's just the best holiday of the year. A whopping 10-4 record last week. To all my friends near and far, I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving.

Week 11 Thoughts:

1. Stop already. Dallas won't make the playoffs. Too big of a hole they dug for themselves.
2. Panthers, there's a team that will do some damage in the playoffs. They win today, they clinch a playoff spot.
3. Rex Ryan, you just need to shut up.
4. Phantom call or not, the Bengals lost against a quality opponent. They have a poor record in primetime games...
5. Packers reestablished the fact that they are the best in the NFC North. Sorry Vikings, please sit down.
6. That Osweiler kid (ASU Product, honestly a really cool kid) looked really good last week.
7. Jameis Winston, insane numbers last week.
8. See also: Cam Newton.
9. Raiders, what the shit happened to you last week. I build you up, and then you cut my legs out from under me. How dare you.
10. Rams Game re Case Keenum: How did you not know dude had a concussion, Jeff Fisher. I watched the game, dude was like a noodle being pulled off of the field by a lineman. I mean, what game are YOU watching.
11. 49ers, I think you are close to securing that top 3 pick.
12. Patriots, they are on a roll.
13. Poor Browns, get their hopes up high, and then pushed over like a deck of cards.

Top 5: Lombardi Division
1. Patriots - Hard to believe, but they haven't budged from this spot.
2. Panthers - Making a push to get to the top, but the Patriots are like, nope.
3. Cardinals - Legit threat to the Panthers.
4. Packers - I moved them back here.
5. Broncos - They can still be dangerous.

Bottom 5: The Participation Trophy Division
32. Browns
31. Titans
30. 49ers
29. Ravens
28. Chargers

Coaches on the hot seat

1. Jim Caldwell
2. THAT Harbaugh guy
3. The Chargers coach. He's like, gone for sure.
4. Mike Pettine
5. Chip Kelly

Ingersoll Pick of the Week:

Minnesota Vikings - In Atlanta, look for AP to tear up the field.

Thursday Thanksgiving Day TRIO OF GAMES

(10:30AM MT FOX) Eagles (4-6) at Lions (3-7) - I mean, did anyone else witness the beatdown the Buccaneers, with a rookie QB, put on the Eagles. Anyone? I was thoroughly shocked. I thought the Bucs would win, didn't know they would help fire Chip Kelly. If the Bucs did that, I am pretty certain the Lions, who are playing decent lately, will do a pretty good job of winning this game, Especially with Mark Sanchez at QB for the Eagles. Lions 27, Eagles 17

(2:30PM MT CBS) Panthers (10-0) at Cowboys (3-7) - The Panthers are one of the best teams in this league. Dallas, could have been. That window is closed. I don't think it's going to be a high scoring game, and I honestly think that moron Greg Hardy is going to get ejected facing his former team. Can Dallas win? Sure. Will they, nope. That Cam Newton guy is playing out of his head. Panthers 20, Cowboys 16

(6:30PM MT NBC) Bears (4-6) at Packers (7-3) - The Packers can make a statement this week, the old "This division runs through us" statement. The Bears have been playing good, even in defeat, but dispatching the Vikings and the Bears in consecutive weeks, lets them know that Rodgers is still the man until they beat him. Sorry Bears fan, you won't be roaring this week. Packers 31, Bears 14 plus two Cutler ints.

SUNDAAAAAAAAAAAY November 29th

11:00AM MT

(CBS) Raiders (4-6) at Titans (2-8) - The Raiders, well I was letdown last week, and most likely will be letdown this week. I will put my faith elsewhere. The Raiders will win, but they are not as dominant and won't make a playoff push this year. They squandered that opportunity last week. Raiders 24, Titans 17

(CBS) Bills (5-5) at Chiefs (5-5) - Andy Reid lit a fire under these Chiefs, and they have responded. The Bills, lot of talk, no backing up. Two defenses that can play well, but the Bills have a tendency to let down in key spots. I think the Chiefs continue their torrid pace. Chiefs 27, Bills 20

(FOX) Buccaneers (5-5) at Colts (5-5) - Winston had a hell of a game last week, two weeks in a row really. Are we starting to see an Elite QB down in Tampa Bay? It is possible. I honestly think he's going to be good and we could see a 4TD week from him this week. The Colts are not good. They play terrible, and if they allow that offense to bully them the way the Bucs did the Eagles last week, well it could be a long day. Bucs 34, Colts 17

(FOX) Giants (5-5) at Redskins (4-6) - Redskins got beatdown last week, but division games are usually a little closer. The Giants, coming off the bye, could do some damage. A three TD game from Beckham should dampen the Redskins spirits. Giants 35, Redskins 24

(FOX) Saints (4-6) at Texans (5-5) - The Texans control their destiny to the playoffs. They can whip the lowly Saints. This is a trap game though. The Texans can't allow Drew Brees to get going or they will have a long day. Unleash...the Watts. Just let him go. Texans 20, Saints 17

(FOX) Vikings (7-3) at Falcons (6-4) - Remember when the Falcons were 5-0. Yeah a lot has changed since then. The Vikings are my pick this week. Vikings 27, Falcons 17

(FOX) Rams (4-6) at Bengals (8-2) - No way the Bengals lose three in a row, right? Yeah they won't. I think that they will win and get back to controlling the AFC North. Bengals 31, Rams 17

(CBS) Chargers (2-8) at Jaguars (4-6) - This is the end for the Chargers coach. Traveling cross country to get his butt kicked by the surprising not in the basement Jaguars. Whoever he is (I could look him up, but I like keeping him nameless) won't survive this season. The Jaguars have a good nucleus they are finally building through years of top 5 picks. Jaguars 24, Chargers 13

(CBS) Dolphins (4-6) at Jets (5-5) - Don't even know what to think about the Jets. They were once talking playoffs, but now they should be thinking about what to do with that top 15 pick they are in the process of securing. The Dolphins, well, they are about as hot and cold as you can expect. Toss up really. Jets at home, I'll go with them. Jets 24, Dolphins 20

(FOX) Cardinals (8-2) at 49ers (3-7)  - Well, the 49ers suck so I will keep this brief. Cardinals 41, 49ers 10

(CBS) Steelers (6-4) at Seahawks (5-5) - A tilt game for both teams. The Seahawks win, they are in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Steelers lose, well they could find themselves out of wildcard spot. Seahawks are beatable at home, unlike past years. It's an intriguing matchup. One I think will be close. Steelers 17, Seahawks 14

6:30PM MST

(NBC) Patriots (10-0) at Broncos (8-2) - A Peyton Manning team is typically owned by a Tom Brady team. I don't think Manning is playing this week, but he's on the roster. I think the Patriots are going to win, won't be a blowout, and we can see a pick or two from that Osweiler kid, but the Patriots should see 11-0 next week. Patriots 24, Broncos 21

Monday November 30th

(ESPN) Ravens (3-7) at Browns (2-8) - You know, Manziel should be thankful he's on an NFL roster. Dude gets so many chances and blows them. Has a great week, decides to party. "I've changed," well actions speak louder than words. Not only did you go from starter to demoted, but demoted to 3rd string. I can see him being cut this offseason. Ravens, minus Flacco, won't win. They are headed toward a top 5 pick this offseason. Injuries have derailed this team. Browns 28, Ravens 10

Happy Thanksgiving to all my wonderful friends and family alike!

Week 11!!!

Week 10 was bananas. Here are some thoughts:

1. Leave Cam Newton alone. Let dude do his thing. Panthers are winning, haters gonna hate.
2. That Patriots/Giants game. So good.
3. Doesn't matter what Dallas does, they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
4. The Vikings? Are they for real? I mean, c'mon. Are they?
5. The Raiders are going to be a dangerous team in 2016.
6. I think the Peyton era is over.
7. Bengals needed to lose. They needed to refocus.
8. The Texans can win the AFC South because the Colts suck horse shoes.
9. Packers can still go all the way.
10. No matter what, the Lions are still terrible.
11. Dallas has lost the majority of their games by 7 points, held halftime leads, or blew fourth quarter leads. Imagine what they'd be like if Romo wouldn't have gotten hurt.
12. Broncos were exposed the other night.

Top 5:

1. Patriots
2. Panthers
3. Bengals
4. Cardinals
5. Vikings

Bottom 5:

32. Browns
31. Titans
30. 49ers
29. Lions
28. Jaguars

Coaches on the Hot Seat:

1. Jim Caldwell
2. Jim Harbaugh
3. Whoever coaches the Chargers
4. The Guy who coaches the Browns

Ingersoll Pick of the Week:

Packers - No way they lose a division game to the Vikings. They need this, so they don't lose 4 in a row.

Thursday November 19th

(NFL) Titans (2-7) at Jaguars (3-6) - For once, the Jaguars seem to be having a better season. Sure they are under .500, but they have a QB who can play, receivers, a running game. They are a year or two from not being a laughingstock. The Titans, they have some areas to fill. They need to protect Mariota or else it's going to be a long night. Jaguars 24, Titans 13

Sunday November 22nd

(CBS) Raiders (4-5) at Lions (2-7) - I am starting to believe in the Raiders. They are a year or two away from being contenders, but they have a nice young core. They need to finish games. They need to build up that defense a bit, but give them a year, they will be a 10 win team. They can take that step by pounding the Lions and getting one step closer to a winning season. Raiders 34, Lions 10

(CBS) Colts (4-5) at Falcons (6-3)- Remember when the Falcons were winning games by big margins? Well that team is gone. They've gone south for the Winter and are playing like the Falcons usually do. Colts, without Luck, probably will play better. He's not been the best QB this season. I think the Falcons sneak by them. Falcons 27, Colts 24

(CBS) Jets (5-4) at Texans (4-5) - The Texans could potentially get into the playoff race with a win. They need to, because the Colts are not good. The Jets need to keep pace for a possible wildcard spot, but they have to win games against crap opponents, and to be honest, they haven't been. Jets 21, Texans 17

(FOX) Buccaneers (4-5) at Eagles (4-5) - Surprise, Surprise, Bradford is hurt. He should've signed that lucrative extension they offered him. Oh well, the Eagles could win this game, but they won't. The Bucs have a good, young defense. Low scoring game ahead. Bucs 17, Eagles 13

(CBS) Broncos (7-2) at Bears (4-5) - No Peyton, but here comes Osweiler. Like a sad consolation prize for the Broncos. Their defense is still top notch, but without Peyton that offense won't be even half decent. Proves that from starting QB to backup, there is a big drop off for many teams around the league. Broncos 20, Bears14

(FOX) Rams (4-5) at Ravens (2-7) - If you told me the Ravens would be 2-7 at this point in the Season, I'd laugh. But here we are. The Ravens suck. The Rams have a good defense. I can see them smothering the lowly Ravens. Rams 31, Ravens 10

(FOX) Cowboys (2-7) at Dolphins (4-5) - Tony is back, and I fully expect that offense to have a high output of points. Cowboys 35, Dolphins 17

(FOX) Redskins (4-5) at Panthers (9-0) - Redskins dropped a ton of points on the Saints. The Panthers, well they keep winning, decidedly. Not gonna pick against them. They should drop Cousins easily. Panthers 31, Redskins 20

(CBS) Chiefs (4-5) at Chargers (2-7) - The Chargers won't make the playoffs. They are terrible this year. The Chiefs, if they keep bullying teams like they did the Broncos, can make a run. Chiefs 27, Chargers 10

(FOX) Packers (6-3) at Vikings (7-2) - Sorry, the Packers won't lose 4 in a row. Packers 34, Vikings 20

(FOX) 49ers (3-6) at Seahawks (4-5) - The Seahawks can shut down this low scoring offense, and I expect them to have a bounce back game after last week. Seahawks 35, 49ers 13

(NBC) Bengals (8-1) at Cardinals (7-2) - The Cardinals at home, pretty good. The Bengals on the road, pretty good. Two good offenses, two good defenses, this could be a great Sunday game. I think the Bengals will play well, and still lose. Cardinals 24, Bengals 20

Monday November 23rd

(ESPN) Bills (5-4) at Patriots (9-0) - Patriots and Bills, great Monday night game. I'm going to just go ahead and wrap this up and say the Patriots are going to win, but a high scoring game just like last time. Patriots 37, Bills 30

Happy NFL Week 11!

NFL Week 9

A 9-5 week last week. Some shockers for sure.

Thoughts from Week 8:

1. How about them Raiders. No for real. How about them Raiders putting beatdown on the number one defense.
2. Dallas needs to use a draft pick on a reliable backup. Groom them, because Tony Tomo is getting old, and they have no reliableQB.
3. Broncos really looked good for a change last week.
4. Vernon Davis trade was nice for San Francisco.
5. the Colts, you are terrible.
6. Bengals. Killing it. I am looking forward to them meeting the Patriots in the Playoffs, I hope.
7. That Saints/Giants game was fantastic.
8. 49ers are going to battle out for a top 5 pick.
9. Panthers and Falcons inevitable game will be really good.
10. Although the Falcons had another letdown against a terrible opponent.
11. Best game of the Week, Packers vs Panthers. Packers should get a low scoring win. No way they lose two in a row.
12. Doesn't matter who the Browns start at QB, they won't beat the Bengals.

Top 5: Lombardi Division

1. Patriots
2. Bengals
3. Panthers
4. Broncos
5. Packers

Bottom 5: The Participation Ribbon Division

32. Lions
31. Titans
30. Chargers
29. Jaguars
28. 49ers

Coaches on the Hot Seat:

1. Ken Whisenhut- Fired. didn't see that coming.
2. Bill O'Brien - A 4-12 record won't cut it.
3. Mike Pettine - Browns need a 9-7 record for him to keep his job.
4. Jim Caldwell - Lions are still terrible.

Ingersoll Pick of the Week:

New Orleans Saints - They are pretty good and the Titans are pretty bad. I expect a lot of points from New Orleans.

Bye Week Teams: Lions, Chiefs, Cardinals, Seahawks, Ravens, Texans

Thursday November 5th

8:20PM EST

(NFL ONLY) Browns (2-6) at Bengals (7-0) - Doesn't matter who starts at QB for the Browns, the Bengals will be after them all night. Sure the Browns have flashes of being good, but not nearly enough. The Bengals, not an exciting team to watch, but boy are they good and winning. They are going to beat down the Browns. Bengals 27, Browns 13

Sunday November 8th

1PM EST
wee
Game of the Week
(FOX) Packers (6-1) at Panthers (7-0) - For the second week in a row, the Packers face an undefeated team. The Panthers, sloppy play and all last week, are undefeated. I think the Packers knock them off. close game. Packers 24, Panthers 20

(FOX) Redskins (3-4) at Patriots (7-0) - Patriots are playing good, at home for the week. Getting a Redskins team that is up and down week to week. Won't fly in New England. I fully expect the Patriots to drop 35 plus on them. Patriots 38, Redskins 10

(CBS) Titans (1-6) at Saints (4-4) - Saints are good at home. Titans are bad overall. New head coach and all this week. Saints roll. Saints 28, Titans 13

(CBS) Dolphins (3-4) at Bills (3-4) - Dolphins have an offense that can score. And the Bills defense is weak. I can see them putting up points in Buffalo. Not sure if Tyrod is back, but even if his, the Dolphins should squeak by. Dolphins 24, Bills 21

(FOX) Rams (4-3) at Vikings (5-2) - Quietly one of the better games of the week. Surprisingly no one is really talking about the Vikings. Good running game, decent pass game. That Rams defense is stingy. Good enough to shut down the running game and force the Vikings to beat them through the air. I think the Vikings win a close one. Vikings 27, Rams 24

(CBS) Jaguars (2-5) at Jets (4-3) - Jets got beatdown by the Raiders. They need a bounce back win. The Jaguars, oh the lowly Jaguars are just bad. Jets 31, Jaguars 10

(CBS) Raiders (4-3) at Steelers (4-4) - Can the Raiders win two in a row? I honestly think they can go into Heinz Field and win. The Steelers are now without Bell, Big Ben is still hobbled. Raiders won't make the playoffs, but they will have a winning record. Raiders 20, Steelers 16

4PM EST

(FOX) Giants (4-4) at Buccaneers (3-4) - Buccaneers had a gutsy win last week. One I didn't see coming to be honest. Giants scored 49 and still lost. They should bounce back against the Buccaneers. Sucks to score that many points and lose. Giants 30, Bucs 17

(FOX) Falcons (6-2) at 49ers (2-6) - Well the 49ers have a backup QB. Watch the Falcons pounce all over him. Falcons 41, 49ers 10

(CBS) Broncos (7-0) at Colts (3-5) - For some reason, Peyton sucks more against the Colts. Although the Colts suck right now, they still won't be good enough to beat the Broncos. They have holes on both sides of the ball. Should be an easy win for Peyton and Co. Broncos 33, Colts 21

830PM EST

(NBC) Eagles (3-4) at Cowboys (2-5) - Mathematically the Cowboys won't make the playoffs even if they run the table. They have a tough schedule ahead and they have too much ground to make up. They haven't won games they should. This is one, and they won't win. Eagles 27, Cowboys 17

Monday November 9th

8:25PM

(ESPN) Bears (2-5) at Chargers (2-6) - Bears are bad. I think they will win, and then they lose.  Chargers are the same. It's a boring Monday night game. Chargers should win at home. Chargers 24, Bears 13

Happy Week 9!!

NFL Week 8

Ouch, one of the worst weeks ever....7-7. I know one of those picks i went out on a limb, the Patriots prevailed barely. the Jets held their own, just couldn't finish it.

Thoughts from Week 8

1. The Dolphins look like an entirely different team. They threw a beatdown on the Texans.
2. 49ers, just like, quit.
3. Dallas, you too. Years of not drafting a quality backup, is coming back to bite you. Especially with Romo's injury history.
4. Lions, I feel bad for Detroit.
5. Patriots probably won't lose for a while. I can see them being the last unbeaten team.
6. That Packers/Broncos game, best of the week.
7. The sad part about the AFC South, the Colts will get into the playoffs with a 7-9 record at this point.
8. Browns back to the same ol same ol. You get the Cardinals, that's sad for you.
9. Saints/Giants game could be the second best game of the week.
10. Shoutout to the Raiders. they look really good this season so far.
11. Seahawks should beat up the Cowboys this week.
12. Bengals, will we see them at 7-0? It will be a good tilt with Big Ben returning.

Top 5: Lombardi Division

1. Patriots - Still the toast.
2. Packers - They are near the top too.
3. Panthers - We should pay more attention to them.
4. Bengals - These guys, too.
5. Falcons - Sorry Broncos fans, not convinced until Peyton improves his play.

Bottom 5: Participation Trophy Division

32. Lions - Sorry, I thought you would climb up from here but nope.
31. 49ers - Ugh.
30. Browns - Double up.
29. Buccaneers - Ugh, Ugh
28. Ravens - Surprising to see them here.

Coaches on the hot seat

1. Bill O'Brien - I won't be surprised if he's fired soon.
2. Jim Caldwell - Lions are bad.
3. Mike Pettine - Look at the Browns.
4. John Harbaugh- Could be if they go 2-14.

Ingersoll Pick of the Week - Team guaranteed to get that W

New York Jets - A tough tilt with the Raiders, but with their defense, and their potential offensive capabilities, they will contain the Raiders potent duo of Carr/Cooper.

Bye Week Teams - Bills, Eagles, Redskins, Jaguars

Thursday October 29 8:25PM EST

(CBS/NFL) Dolphins (3-3) vs Patriots (6-0) - The Dolphins, since firing Joe Philbin, have been on a tear. Offense is insane. They are running up against a formidable Patriots defense. I don't see a shootout, but the Dolphins can sack Brady and penetrate that offensive line. Should be a Patriots win. Patriots 27, Dolphins 17

Sunday November 1st (DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME)

1PM EST

(FOX) Lions (1-6) vs Chiefs (2-5) - Lions, poor Lions. So bad all the time. Last year's playoff loss, and just haven't recovered. Chiefs surprisingly beat the Steelers last week. The lions have to play like they have everything to gain. Keep some jobs. Chiefs too. I can see the Lions getting that second elusive win. Lions 24, Chiefs 20

(FOX) Buccaneers (2-4) vs Falcons (6-1) - Falcons weren't as high powered last week. They did manage to win, but the offense was meh. Bucs had a chance for a third win, and literally blew it. Falcons need to win to keep pace with the Panthers. Should be a big day for them. Falcons 31, Bucs 13

(FOX) Cardinals (5-2) vs Browns (2-5) - Browns had a chance to beat the Rams but then remembered they are the Browns. The Cardinals nearly blew a lead against the Ravens, but they are a tough team. They can beat Cleveland, and it's just another piled up loss for the Browns. Cardinals 35, Browns 20

(FOX) 49ers (2-5) vs Rams (3-3) - I mean, the Rams have a pretty good defense. The 49ers have nothing. So I don't think this will be a close game at all. Rams 27, 49ers 6

(FOX) Giants (4-3) vs Saints (3-4) - This is a matchup that is good on paper. The Saints have rebounded from a terrible start. They have won a few in a row. The Giants, barely beat a Cowboys team they should have destroyed. I fully expect a high scoring match, that the Saints win by a field goal. Saints 30, Giants 27

(FOX) Vikings (4-2) vs Bears (2-4) - Bears are just not good. I am very surprised that the Vikings are 4-2. But here they are. The Vikings can get the running game going, and coast to a win. Jay Cutler is going to throw his usual 2-3 picks. Vikings 24, Bears 13

(CBS) Chargers (2-4) vs Ravens (1-6) - The Chargers are traveling across the country, and usually in these games, with this record, they usually shine. It will be a nice warm, scattered shower day in Baltimore. The Chargers could put the spike in the crap Ravens season. I think the Chargers will win a close game. Chargers 27, Ravens 23

(CBS) Bengals (6-0) vs Steelers (4-3) - the Bengals are good. Both at home and on the road. Big Ben returns and the offense is completely different when he is the QB. I think the Steelers win with the boost at QB. Steelers 17, Bengals 14

(CBS) Titans (1-5) vs Texans (2-5) - The Texans and Titans is a game you can skip. both teams are bad. Not sure if Mariotta is playing, and the Texans just have all sorts of issues on both sides of the ball. Texans are not nearly as bad and should have a productive day. Texans 24, Titans 10

4:05PM EST

(CBS) Jets (4-2) vs Raiders (3-3) - The Jets are pretty good and they went toe to toe with the Patriots. They can be a wild card contender. They just have to win games like this. Raiders, bravo team. you guys are turning it around after a mediocre dozen seasons. Jets will win, sorry guys. Jets 28, Raiders 17

(FOX) Seahawks (3-4) vs Cowboys (2-4) - the Cowboys don't have the QB firepower to contend. Sure they may be able to run the ball, and even sack Wilson, but they can't contend without a legit arm. Matt Casell? Brandon Weeded? no. Seahawks should get back to .500. Seahawks 31, Cowboys 13

8:30PM EST

(NBC) Packers (6-0) vs Broncos (6-0) - Best game of the week. The Broncos have a defense that is good. The Packers offense is equally good. Can we see Peyton return to form? Probably not. I think that it will be a low scoring, but exciting game. Packers 20, Broncos 16

Monday November 2nd

(ESPN) Colts (3-4) at Panthers (6-0) - The Colts are as bad as they seem and it's okay because they are in a terrible division and will still make the playoffs. They play from behind a lot and if they get behind on the Panthers, they will be looking at another loss. That will happen, unfortunately for them. Panthers 31, Colts 28

Happy Week 8!
