NFL Week 16

Happy Holidays my friends!

Last week 14-2. Overall 144-91-1.

Thoughts-
-The Seahawks got destroyed.
- The end of the Raiders/Cowboys game was incredible.
- The end of the Patriots/Steelers game, holy crap. That was one back and forth contest. Steelers got robbed though.
- Vikings look like legit contenders to be the first team to play a home super bowl.
- Yay, Cleveland.

Saturday December 23rd

(NFL) Colts (3-11) at Ravens (8-6) - The Ravens have a chance to potentially lock up a playoff wildcard spot. They have to have a lot of help though. The Colts, well they should just keep that top 5 pick, don't try to win. You have nothing to gain from it. Get a running back next season. Ravens 27, Colts 13

(NBC) Vikings (11-3) at Packers (7-7) - The Packers who are a long shot to get a wildcard spot, can play spoiler. They can prevent the Vikings from getting home field advantage through the playoffs. Rodgers is back, 2nd game since the injury. He is kind of a Viking killer. He's owned them. So, I think that they can sneak a win. Packers 20, Vikings 17

Sunday December 24th

(CBS) Browns (0-14) at Bears (4-10) - Just finish strong, Browns. Please. Bears 17, Browns 7

(FOX) Lions (8-6) at Bengals (5-9) - Honestly, Marvin Lewis should've left like 6 years ago. So glad he's going. The Lions, can hold onto to their slim playoff hopes by sending Marvin out with a losing streak. I think the Lions have just enough this week. Lions 24, Bengals 20

(FOX) Rams (10-4) at Titans (8-6) - The Rams straight up beat the Seahawks down. I honestly don't see the Titans putting up much of a fight, and propelling the Jaguars to a division title as a result. Rams 37, Titans 17

(CBS) Dolphins (6-8) at Chiefs (8-6) - The hardest team to figure out this season. Start out hot, lose 6 of 9, win a couple, chance to make the playoffs and win the division also. Chiefs better beat the Dolphins or else they are going to have a hard time winning the crappiest division in football with the Chargers nipping at their heels. Chiefs 31, Dolphins 10

(CBS) Bills (8-6) at Patriots (11-3) - Bills can play spoiler by beating the Patriots and keeping them from clinching home field. They have a lot to get revenge on, considering Gronkowski's dirty play last meeting. I think the Bills stun the Patriots. Bills 24, Patriots 20

(FOX) Falcons (9-5) at Saints (10-4) - Falcons are in the same position as last season. Three division games to close the season, all wins, then propel them to the super bowl. Only problem this season? They are playing much improved Saints and Panthers team. I see a shootout. Saints 34, Falcons 31

(CBS) Chargers (7-7) at Jets (5-9) - The Chargers can beat the Jets and hang on to their slim playoff hopes. Chargers 27, Jets 10

(CBS) Broncos (5-9) at Redskins (6-8)  - I don't think the Broncos are good. They have a lot of holes to fill this offseason. Could go after Kirk Cousins if the Redskins let him walk. They get an upclose audition as he torches their team this week. Redskins 24, Broncos 9

(FOX) Buccaneers (4-10) at Panthers (10-4) - The Panthers should beat the Buccanners handily. Panthers 38, Bucs 13

(CBS) Jaguars (10-4) at 49ers (4-10) - Continue the winning, Jaguars. You are putting it together at the right time. Sure, Bortles is riding a high, but use the run game. It won't let you down. Jaguars 31, 49ers 17

(FOX) Seahawks (8-6) at Cowboys (8-6) - I have never seen the Seahawks play as bad as they did last week. I don't know how they recover honestly. They will miss the playoffs, but they have some chemistry problems on defense now. They get a fresh Elliott to deal with this week. A motivated Dallas team. I think they down the Seahawks at home. Barely. Cowboys 24, Seahawks 20

(FOX) Giants (2-12) at Cardinals (6-8) - Both teams are huge disappointments. Giants, tank. keep that top 3 pick. Cardinals 20, Giants 10

Monday December 25th

(NBC) Steelers (11-3) at Texans (4-10) - Steelers gonna come out like a tornado and beat the crap out of the Texans. Steelers 34, Texans 9

(ESPN) Raiders (6-8) at Eagles (12-2) - Now that the Eagles have clinched the division, they have to hold off the Vikings for home field advantage. They get a severely wounded Raiders team to beat up on, so it will be a merry christmas indeed for the Eagles. Wait, there's a lump of coal looming. Raiders 24, Eagles 17.

Happy NFL Week 16!

NFL Week 14

Last Week 10-6. Overall 123-79-1

Thoughts from last week:

- Told you about them Eagles. They went into Seattle and did not play well. Now they play the Rams in what should be the best game of the week. Oh yeah, 1 and 2 in the QB's in the last years draft go head to head for the first time.
- Browns, you're almost over the finish line.
- The Seahawks vs Jaguars game should be a good one, too.
- The Giants, have turned into a joke.
- The Vikings are trying to be the first home team to play in the Super Bowl. And if Keenum gets hurt, they have two formidable QB's behind him.
- I love Gronkowski, but cheap hit dude.
- You too, Ju-Ju.
- Chiefs, 5-0. to 6-6. the hell is going on in KC.

Power Rankings

3. Rams
4. Eagles
5.  Steelers

Bottom 5

32. Browns
31. Giants
30.  49ers
29 Broncos
28. Colts

Thursday, December 7th

(NBC) Saints (9-3) at Falcons (7-5) - One of the best thursday night games in a while. The Saints, are hot. The Falcons, well still waiting for the wheels to fall off, which they will. The Falcons defense is as porous as a colander. I think the Saints are going to throw the ball around, and torch the Falcons Defense. Flip side, if no one can stop Julio Jones or that Saints defense can't get to Matt Ryan, we can expect one hell of a shootout. Saints 27, Falcons 17

Sunday, December 10th

(CBS) Colts (3-9) at Bills (6-6) - Neither has anything to play for. I mean, I'm even bored talking about them already. Bills need to haul over that defense, which is ironic because they let a lot of their good players walk in free agency. Colts just suck. Even having Luck around wouldn't help this team. Bills 24, Colts 9

(FOX) Bears (3-9) at Bengals (5-7) - Bengals, another disappointing week. A game in which they led nearly the entire way. Bears, lost to the 49ers. What the heck is wrong with you guys. Bengals should dispatch the Bears. Bengals 31, Bears 13

(FOX) Packers (6-6) at Browns (0-fer haha)-  PACKERS KEEP THEM WINLESS. Packers 24, Browns 3

(CBS) Raiders (6-6) at Chiefs (6-6) - The Raiders and Chiefs, this could've been a good game had either team not been so disappointing. Sad part is, one of them will win this division because the division as a whole, is terrible. I think the Chiefs, lose. haha. Raiders 27, Chiefs 20

(FOX) Cowboys (6-6) at Giants (2-10) - Look, what happened to Eli sucked. But to be fair, the Giants suck. I think Dallas smacks the Giants at home. Cowboys 28, Giants 10

(FOX) Lions (6-6) at Buccaneers (4-8) - The Bucs are not good. I mean, I keep saying this every week, but they are just bad. How have they regressed so badly from last season. Lions, well they should feast on them. The Bucs Defense is horrible. Lions 27, Bucs 13

(CBS) Vikings (10-2) at Panthers (8-4) - The Vikings are one of the best teams in the league. Will they make the super bowl? Perhaps. The Panthers have problems with teams that can spread the field and throw. The thing is, the Vikings can do that. They have the wide receivers to do that. If the Panthers hope to win, they have to throw Keenum off his rhythm. Newton needs to have some ball control and establish a run game that can keep the Vikings off the field. Vikings 20, Panthers 14

(FOX) 49ers (2-10) at Texans (4-8) - The 49ers should tank. They need some players. They need good players. Texans, not much better. Their QB situation is horrid. Their defense, without Watt, is bad. Could be a good game, but it will be a sloppy boring game. Texans 21, 49ers 9

(CB) Jets (5-7) at Broncos (3-9) - Did anyone expect the Broncos to be THIS bad. Not I. Jets should take care of them. Jets 31, Broncos 10

(CBS) Titan (8-4) at Cardinals (5-7) - If the Titans want to take the lead in this division, this is a must win game against the lowly cardinals. The Jaguars have their own problem this week, and for the Titans this is a very winnable game. Titans 27, Cardinals 17

(CBS) Redskins (5-7) at Chargers (6-6) - Funny fact, the Chargers could win this game, and take the division lead. Which I see happening in a crummy division. Chargers 17, Redskins 12

(FOX) Eagles (10-2) at Rams (9-3) - This should be one heck of a game. The Eagles though, they have a problem with top flight defenses. The Rams, happen to have one. If the Eagles receivers can't get loose, can't give Wentz any running room to escape the pocket, the Eagles will be in for a long day. They proved last week that they are unable to hold up against good defenses. However, I think the Eagles win a close close game. Eagles 17, Rams 14

(FOX) Seahawks (8-4) at Jaguars (8-4) - I want to believe in the Jaguars. The Seahawks proved last week they can smack a good team right in the teeth. I want to believe in the Jaguars. The Seahawks have to give Wilson time, and they did. I want to believe win the Jaguars. The Seahawks can win. I believe the Jaguars will show they are a good team, and win a close game. Jaguars 20, Seahawks 17

(NBC) Ravens (7-5) at Steelers (10-2)  - Last weeks Steelers game was pretty violent. The Ravens and Steelers is never a pretty game. This will be a close game as usual. Steelers 19, Ravens 13

Monday, December 11th

(ESPN) Patriots (10-2) at Dolphins (5-7) - Even without Gronkowski, the Patriots will beat the Dolphins into a tuna can. Patriots 34, Dolphins 10

Happy NFL Week 14

NFL Week 13

Last week, 12-4. Overall, 113-73-1.

Thoughts from Last week:

-Dallas is bad. Who would've thought that the run game had such an impact on the team as a whole.
-Benching Eli Manning, even though I hate the Giants, is a stupid stupid move.
- Browns, 5 more games. I know you beat the Chargers last year, but can you like, not.
- Titans and Jaguars are on some sort of collision course for the AFC South title.
- Chiefs have lost 5 of their last 6. I think they were rated way too high. Thought they'd be a lot better, but nope.
- Eagles are playing great. They look unbeatable. Big tests looming for them though.
- Rams have to hold on to win the division, they have a lot of big games coming up.

Power Rankings

Top 5
1. Eagles
2 Patriots
3. Rams
4. Vikings
5.  Steelers

Bottom 5

32. Browns
31. Giants
30.  49ers
29. Bears
28. Broncos

Thursday November 30th

Both teams are 5-6.
(NBC) Redskins at Cowboys - Redskins are seemingly in a much better place to make a playoff run than the Cowboys. This could and most likely will be a one sides beatdown. Dallas' defense is nonexistent. If they do not address the defense in the next couple of drafts/free agency, they will be wasting Dak and Ezekiel's prime years. Redskins 31, Cowboys 17

Sunday December 3rd

(FOX) Vikings (9-2) at Falcons (7-4) - Julio Jones is a beast. So is the Vikings. the Falcons, if they want to close the gap for the number 2 seed, have to win, and I don't see that happening. Not with the way the Vikings defense is playing. Actually, the Falcons can win, they need to put pressure on Keenum. I am going to take a leap and say the Falcons will win a close game. Falcons 27, Vikings 24

(CBS) Patriots (9-2) at Bills (6-5) - The Bills won't win. I know they are hoping that they will, but they won't. Patriots 34, Bills 10

(CBS) 49ers (1-10) at Bears (3-8) - 49ers are just playing for seeding now. A win now, will cost them a top 3 pick. I don't see them winning any games, they've won their one game and now they can lose the rest. Bears 27, 49ers 13

(FOX) Buccaneers (4-7) at Packers (5-6) - Warm weather team in a cold climate? I think the Packers showed a lot against a good Steelers team. They should and will build on that and beat the Bucs. Packers 21, Bucs 10

(CBS) Texans (4-7) at Titans (7-4) - Texans aren't a bad team, just no consistent play at QB. The Titans need to play a ball control game, and leave with the W. Titans 20, Texans 10

(FOX) Broncos (3-8) at Dolphins (4-7) - Both teams are bad. It's like picking cyanide or rat poison. I'll go Broncos, because they desperately need a win. Broncos 16, Dolphins 9

(CBS) Chiefs (6-5) at Jets (4-7) - The Chiefs are in a free fall. This is a game they can win, but the Jets, they aren't an easy out. No turnovers, ball control, Chiefs right the ship. Chiefs 24, Jets 13

(CBS) Colts (3-8) at Jaguars (7-4) - Jaguars are a young, talented team, with a QB who is so inconsistent. The Colts, well everything is bad about them. They are steamrolling toward a top 5 pick right now. Jaguars want to win the South, they have to beat the Colts down. Jaguars 34, Colts 17

(FOX) Lions (6-5) at Ravens (6-5) - Barely, barely, both teams are still in the playoff race. Must win game. The Ravens, they have a lot of inconsistent play. The Lions, well their defense is their Achilles heel. Going to be a close game, and the Lions get the win on the road. Lions 27, Ravens 24

(CBS) Browns (0-11) at Chargers (5-6) - CHARGERS FINISH THEM. Chargers 31, Browns 9.

(FOX) Giants (2-9) at Raiders (5-6) - I don't like the Giants, but besides that, I think the way Eli Manning's demotion was handled was pure garbage. GENO SMITH. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

(gasp).

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

(and like 50,0000more of those).

Raiders 41, Giants 10

Both teams 8-3

(FOX) Panthers at Saints -  This is going to be a great game. The Panthers are playing great, but this, this game, is the big test. They want to win the South? They have to beat the Saints. They have to stay ahead of the Falcons. Will they? I don't think so. I think the Saints throttle that defense. Saints 34, Panthers 20

(FOX) Rams (8-3) at Cardinals (5-6) - The Rams should beat the lowly Cardinals. Rams 35, Cardinals 17

(NBC) Eagles (10-1) at Seahawks (7-4) - I want to say the Eagles are the real deal. I want to say that, and maybe I will. But to be considered the real deal, they have to beat teams like the Seahawks AT HOME. Can they? Sure. Will they? Remains to be seen. This is the biggest game, because if they can't win, and they can't beat that Seahawks defense that is seriously depleted, well everyone will know how they can be beat. I think the Seahawks stun the other birds at home. Seahawks 24, Eagles 17

Monday December 4th

(ESPN) Steelers (9-2) at Bengals (5-6) - In danger of missing the playoffs, which they will, the Bengals are one of those teams that is a true surprise. All the talent in the world, mediocre for the last decade. How Marvin Lewis has kept his job, which he won't beyond this season, is bonkers. Steelers came off a good win last week, their defense, once the toast of Steeltown, is not good. They need to put on a strong display this week, because they have a showdown coming with the Patriots. Steelers 21, Bengals 10

NFL Week 11

Last week 12-2-1 (mostly because I didn't care about the Panthers Dolphins game and abstained from picking a winner). So on the season, 95-61-1

Thoughts from last Week:

-Dallas, no way you should've lost as bad as you did. Elliott doesn't play defense.
- Patriots look like they are gearing up for the postseason.
- Still not sold on the Panthers.
- Giants are as bad as advertised, if not worse.
-Don't sleep on the Rams, they are killin teams right now.
- Vikings as well.
- Browns can go the distance.
- Saints look scary. The NFC South is going to be one heck of a finish.

Power Rankings - No change

Top 5
1. Eagles
2 Patriots
3. Chiefs
4. Vikings
5.  Steelers

Bottom 5B

32. Browns
31. Giants
30.  49ers
29. Buccaneers
28. Bears

Thursday November 16th

(NBC) Titans (6-3) at Steelers (7-2) - Despite the record, not overly impressed by the Steelers. something is up with that offense. for all the offensive stars it has, it's not that great. No rhythm. Now they have to deal with a Titans defense that is more than formidable. I don't see a win for Pittsburgh, although I'm typically wrong. Titans 20, Steelers 13

Sunday November 19th

(FOX) Lions (5-4) at Bears (3-6) - The Lions are starting to turn it around at the right point. They get a weak Bears team, and can pile on some points and try to make up some ground on the division leading vikings. If they want to do that, they have to start with weak teams like this. Lions 27, Bears 10

(CBS) Jaguars (6-3) at Browns (0-9) - Look, the Browns suck. I don't need to keep beating the drum on what I want. I want a perfect reverse season. Jaguars 34, Browns 17

(CBS) Ravens (4-5) at Packers (5-4) - The Ravens, surprisingly are bad. I thought they'd finish with a 10 win season, and they still might, but they are a bad team. They have to go to Lambeau and win? I don't see that happening. Not the way that offense is playing. Packers 21, Ravens 10

(FOX) Buccaneers (3-6) at Dolphins (4-5) - Not playing this game in week 1 due to the hurricane really set these two teams on the same path. Thought the Bucs would challenge for the division, but nope. They are mediocre at best. They can beat the Dolphins, cause they aren't good either. Bucs 27, Dolphins 17

(FOX) Rams (7-2) at Vikings (7-2) - The Rams are playing some great football. they can give any team in this league a run for their money. I think the inevitable Rams/Eagles playoff game will be amazing. For now, they take on a Vikings team that gave up a lot of points to a mediocre Redskins offense. Will the Rams exploit that? you betcha. Vikings get behind, they won't be able to catch up, not with that Rams defense. Rams 37, Vikings 20

(FOX) Redskins (4-5) at Saints (7-2) - Saints have been dropping points at a huge clip. Redskins get behind, this is going to get ugly fast. I have a feeling that the Redskins pull off the upset though. Redskins 31, Saints 27

(CBS) Chiefs (6-3) at Giants (1-8) - The Giants are bad. This might be one of those 41 point losses. Chiefs 47, Giants 9

(FOX) Cardinals (4-5) at Texans (3-6) - Both teams are bad. Neither has a QB that can lead them to a decisive victory. Cardinals can win on the road, but damn both teams are heading for a top 10 pick. Cardinals 24, Texans 17

(FOX) Bills (5-4) at Chargers (3-6) - I always want to think that the Bills will be good, Chargers too, but both are just mediocre. The Chargers haven't been good, and keep finding creative ways to lose. The Bills defense is just horrific. Bills should drop the Chargers. Bills 28, Chargers 13

(CBS) Bengals (3-6) at Broncos (3-6) - The Broncos have some bad loses on their resume. Their vaunted defense, has been a punching bag. They have no consistency on offense. No ball control. The Bengals, same. Marvin Lewis should be out by the end of the season. Broncos, well they need a lot of help. Bad matchups this weekend. This is a game I could care less about. Broncos should win at home. Broncos 20, Bengals 10

(CBS) Patriots (7-2) at Raiders (4-5) - The Raiders won't survive the beatdown that is coming. They are an ill prepared team that could've been a lot more. Patriots 34, Raiders 10

(NBC) Eagles (8-1) at Cowboys (5-4) - Thus starts the slow descent to an 8-8 season for the Cowboys. The Eagles, with all of their weapons, will bury the Cowboys. Eagles 41, Cowboys 10

Monday November 20th

(ESPN) Falcons (5-4) at Seahawks (6-3) - I want to think the Seahawks are as good as their record, but if we are being honest, they are not. They have not played all that great. The Falcons, well their record is right where I thought it would be. They are not a good team either. The two teams colliding on Monday night should show that each team has their flaws. The defense for the Seahawks will be exploited now that Sherman is out. It's not like they have been shutting teams down. The Falcons defense is also bad. So it should be a high scoring ramajam fest. Falcons 42, Seahawks 35

Happy NFL Week 11

NFL WEEK 10

Last week 8-5 season 83-59

Thoughts from last week

-Too many NFL fights and ejections last week.
- Eagles look like the team to beat.
-Rams look pretty good too. They've dropped a lot of points this season. Already more points than they scored last season.
-I thought the Bucs would take  step forward this season, they have not.
-Saints though, look out NFC South.
- Also, Jaguars. You haven't wilted under pressure yet.
-Browns, 49ers...you keep up that losing.
- Seahawks are not a dominant football team. That defense has aged.
- Dallas is surprising. I mean, they still have to play the Eagles twice. That defense, as usual, needs a serious upgrade though.
- i mean, how bad are the Giants.

Power Rankings

Top 5
1. Eagles
2 Patriots
3. Chiefs
4. Vikings
5.  Steelers

Bottom 5

32. Browns
31. 49ers
30. Giants
29. Buccaneers
28. Bears

Thursday November 9th

(NBC) Seahawks (5-3) at Cardinals (4-4)- I am surprised the Seahawks aren't 7-1 at this point. Lost games they should've won. Aren't scoring as much. Not protecting Wilson as much as they should. Cardinals, same. They could be a lot better, but poor play, and turnovers have killed them. No Carson Palmer, I don't like the chances of the Cardinals as the Seahawks come in and attempt to rebound from the loss at home last week. Seahawks 24, Cardinals 14

Sunday November 12th

(CBS) Saints (6-2) at Bills (5-3) - Bills are another one of those up and down teams. Don't let the 5-3 record fool you. They are not as good as their record indicates, and will be tested by a high scoring NFC South leading Saints team. I don't think it's a blowout, but I think the Saints go into Buffalo and win a close game. Saints 27, Bills 24

(FOX) Packers (4-4) at Bears (3-5) - In the NFL, one play away from being good, or being bad. Had the Packers had better protection, Rodgers wouldn't be hurt. One play changed their season. Now, they will be fighting the Bears for last place in the division. Hundley played good last week, but he needs to evade sacks, and step up in the pocket and throw the ball instead of dancing around back there. Packers win, but it won't be pretty. Packers 17, Bears 10

(CBS) Browns (0-8) at Lions (4-4) - My stance has not changed. Lions, finish them. Lions 31, Browns 17

(FOX) Bengals (3-5) at Titans (5-3) - Bengals have not been impressive. Matter of fact, I think ol Marvin Lewis will finally be on the hot seat. Bengals have underperformed for years. Sure, they've made the playoffs, but usually a quick out. Time for some change in Cincy. I think the Titans win this one. Titans 27, Bengals 12

(CBS) Steelers (6-2) at Colts (3-5) - Steelers continue their streak. The Colts have won more games than I thought they would. Steelers need to keep pace in the AFC if they want to snag one of those first round byes. They have to beat teams like this. Steelers 34, Colts 17

(CBS) Jets (4-5) at Buccaneers (2-6) - With the way they finished the season, and the personnel they added, I was certain the Bucs would be 6-2 at this point. Instead, they have regressed. Jets, well they aren't expected to compete in that division. They are still in rebuilding mode. They should knock off the Bucs though. Jets 24, Bucs 13

(FOX) Vikings (6-2) at Redskins (4-4) - Honestly, still surprised the vikings are good. The division now, is weak, but they are playing good. Reminder, they did this last season and sucked the rest of the way. To avoid that, they have to get consistent QB play. Just read that Bridgewater is practicing and he was good before he got hurt. Sam Bradford is always hurt. Redskins well, I can see them playing a close game, and possibly stealing it like they did in Seattle last week. Redskins 20, Vikings 17

(CBS) Chargers (3-5) at Jaguars (5-3) - Jaguars, gather round younglings. You see if you want to make it, you want to appear legitimate, these are games you have to win. Against low rung bottom feeders. The Chargers, are not good. You can beat them. You have to believe in yourself. Like that guy over there believes in you. Jaguars 24, Chargers 17

(CBS) Texans (3-5) at Rams (6-2) - Replace everything I just said about the Jaguars, with the Rams. Rams 37, Texans 9

(FOX) Cowboys (5-3) at Falcons (4-4) - Falcons are seeing the effect of the Super Bowl loser curse. Doesn't mean they won't win, but they are not good. Dallas has no one to stop Julio Jones. Matt Ryan has to be licking his wing, hoping to be able to throw down the field. Sorry Cowboys, you are going to get murdered. Falcons 34, Cowboys 14

(FOX) Giants (1-7) at 49ers (0-9) - Giants, I want to believe you'll win, but I don't believe you will. 49ers 17, Giants 6

(NBC) Patriots (6-2) at Broncos (3-5) - Broncos, for all the defense you have, that offense can not save you. Patriots 34, Broncos 10

Monday November 13th

(ESPN) Dolphins (4-4) at Panthers (6-3) - Dolphins suck. I hate Cam Newton, I hope both teams tie. Dolphins 7, Panthers 7.

NFL Week 7

Last week, 6-8. Overall, 50-41.

Thoughts from last week

-Sorry, Packers. Your season is over. Rodgers going down is not only devastating for the Packers, for but for the NFL as a whole.
-Also there goes my Super Bowl pick. DAMNIT RODGERS. DRINK MORE MILK
- Browns, yours has been over since that Thursday Night Chiefs/Patriots game, and you didn't even play.
- Chiefs can't win them all, but it also illustrates my point with the Steelers. Plays down and gets obliterated by "okay teams" (see the Jaguars) and then plays up and beats excellent teams.
- Raiders, what's going on in Oakland? Fully thought you'd be competing for a playoff spot.
- Also, Broncos? Really? You let that Bum Eli beat you last week. Dead. To. Me. They were supposed to run the table in reverse.
- Don't look now, but the Rams might actually be pretty good. Clearly playing in L.A. is good for them.
- I think the Cardinals winning, was a facade. Just because you get Adrian Peterson, doesn't mean much. So many glaring holes on the team. Maybe I'm wrong, but even at the end of the game, they still had a chance of losing.
- 49ers, you still give me hope.

Thursday October 19th

(CBS) Chiefs (5-1) at Raiders (2-4)- I honestly thought that the raiders would be good this season. Clearly, I was wrong. They have continued to look like a team that is put together with the last few strips of scotch tape. 2-4? Terrible. They clearly should be better, but for some reason, they have not played good. The Chiefs, one loss won't change anything. They have been playing good, and even had a chance to win last week. They bounce back this week though. Chiefs 24, Raiders 17

Sunday October 22nd

(FOX) Buccaneers (2-3) at Bills (3-2) - The Buccaneers, after being down by a huge amount, came back to nearly win the game. They are supposed to be better than their record indicates, but if we are being honest, the Bucs are really about a year or two from being consistently good. The Bills, not much to say. Winning record, but their offense is shaky at best. I think the Bucs steal one on the road. Bucs 21, Bills 13

(CBS) Panthers (4-2) at Bears (2-4) - Bears beat a really good team last week. Was impressed. I'm not sure I'm sold on the Panthers. They aren't really playing great, I mean they should win this game, but at some point they are going to be exposed that they really aren't a good team. Panthers 27, Bears 16

(CBS) Titans (3-3) at Browns (0-6) - I have made it really clear that either the 49ers or Browns should run the table in reverse. Don't care who does it, but just lose so we don't get it confused. Titans 31, Browns 20

(FOX) Saints (3-2) at Packers (4-2) - I know there are 52 men on a roster, but when your best man goes down, well teams typically crumble. I expect the Packers to do that. I don't know much about the backup, but I'm going to guess it's his first start in the NFL. Going to be a Saints party at Lambeau. Saints 34, Packers 10

(CBS) Jaguars (3-2) at Colts (2-4) - Again, not sure what to make of the Jaguars. Destroys the Steelers one week, gets beat by the Rams the following week. Truly the Jekyll/Hyde of the NFL right now. Colts, well, I think they are about as god as can be expected. Jaguars should win a close game. Jaguars 20, Colts 17

(FOX) Cardinals (3-3) at Rams (4-2) - Rams want to take a step at claiming the division crown? This is the game they have to win. They lose, it opens the division up again. I think the Cardinals win a thriller though. Cardinals 24, Rams 20

(FOX) Jets (3-3) at Dolphins (3-2)  - I think the Jets were robbed on a TD last week, which would have made that Patriots/Jets game a lot more interesting. Jets aren't as bad as they are portrayed. Dolphins, either. QB play, and the inconsistencies will be the death of both teams. I think the Dolphins win a close one. Dolphins 27, Jets 24

(CBS) Ravens (3-3) at Vikings (4-2) - Vikings have a chance to take control of this division, with Rodgers out, they can establish the dominance they seek. The Ravens, well they lost to the Bears last week, so I don't expect them to put up much of a fight against a formidable defense. Vikings 31, Ravens 20

(FOX) Cowboys (2-3) at 49ers (0-6) - Cowboys, don't make me excommunicate you. Cowboys 27, 49ers 10

(CBS) Seahawks (3-2) at Giants (1-5) - In a season where they have looked terrible, I honestly think the Giants can take the cross country flying Seahawks, and beat them. Giants 20, Seahawks 13

(CBS) Bengals (2-3) at Steelers (4-2) - Bengals are another one of those teams that has me wondering how they can be so bad. Sure, they've won two games, but geez, they look bad. Steelers, well again they don't appear to be as good as their record. I think they win, but I don't think that it's going to be a beatdown. Steelers 24, Bengals 16

(CBS) Broncos (3-2) at Chargers (2-4) - If it weren't for the defense, the Broncos probably would be like 1-4 or something. The Chargers haven't played that great, but it's a home game and the SoCal crowd is good one. I think that the Chargers lead this game, and then lose it. Sucks, but that's been that way for them for a while now. Broncos 20, Chargers 17

(NBC) Falcons (3-2) at Patriots (4-2) - It will forever be known that the Falcons had a huge lead, and choked it away. They lost the biggest game of their life because they could not close it. The Patriots though, let's be honest. This season, their defense is legit crap. They have had a 300 yard passer against them...EVERY. GAME. THIS. SEASON. Even last week, McCown threw for over 350. So, that tells you about the Pats defense. The Falcons can win, but the Super Bowl game will forever haunt them. Falcons 27, Patriots 20

Monday October 23rd

(ESPN) Redskins (3-2) at Eagles (5-1) - Redskins have been hot and cold. Not really all that great. The Eagles, have been playing really well. Solid defense. Good offense. One that is going to give a lot of team matchup problems. Carson Wentz, turning out to be a good player for the Eagles. They need to do all they can to surround him with weapons, because he will find them. I think it's another win for the Eagles. Filthadelphia 34, Washington Idiots 24

Happy NFL Week 7!

NFL Week 6

Last week 7-7.
Overall 44-33

Notes
- All hail the Chiefs. They are the only undefeated team to date.
- Giants, you suffered some bad losses, but not 3 wide receivers gone for the season in one quarter, loss. Your season, is over.
- Eagles look really good. I hate them, but they look good.
- Why is it that the Browns do not seem to be making progress, ever. I mean, last season they started out bad, and this season is the same. How the coach has managed to keep his job is astounding.
- The Buccaneers beat themselves last week. They should've easily handled the Patriots.
- Don't look now, but the Jaguars might be figuring it out. They destroyed the Steelers last week.
- The Seahawks, despite their record, is not playing all that great.

Thursday October 12th

(CBS) Eagles (4-1) at Panthers (4-1) - The Eagles, have looked great, and it pains me to say that. Wentz has been really good, and that defense. so good. The Panthers, well not too shabby. I don't really care too much for Cam Newton, but the team is good. Overall, finally a good matchup on Thursday night after a few terrible games. I think we are going to get an exciting game. Eagles 24, Panthers 20

Sunday October 15th

(CBS) Dolphins (2-2) at Falcons (3-1) - Dolphins have climbed back to .500, and the Falcons are coming off the bye week. Not sold on other team really. I still don't think the Dolphins, with Cutler, will do any better than .500. The Falcons, well tough division. Up and coming Buccaneers, and the Panthers of course. These are games the Falcons have to win if they are going to win the division. Should destroy the Dolphins. Falcons 31, Dolphins 13

(FOX) Packers (4-1) at Vikings (3-2) - I think it's safe to say that Aaron Rodgers is the magic man. If you leave any time on the clock, even 1 second, he will find a way to tie the game up, or beat you. PLEASE RUN OUT THE CLOCK. The Packers are one of the better teams in the league, because of their offense. Defense gives up too many points. Vikings on the other hand, their defense is strong. Their offense scores when necessary but they are not one that you fear. I think this is going to be a tough, grind em NFC North game, and it will come down to a field goal. Packers 20, Vikings 17

(FOX) Lions (3-2) at Saints (2-2) - I think the Lions are going to beat the Saints only because I think the Lions are a better team. Tough losses, but they are a good team. Lions 34, Saints 24

(CBS) Patriots (3-2) at Jets (3-2) - Still surprised the Jets have won 3 games. They won't get their fourth this week. Brady has owned this team. He should be paying taxes to the state of new york, that kind of owned. Patriots 37, Jets 13

(FOX) 49ers (0-5) at Redskins (2-2) - Keep my dream alive, Redskins. Redskins 31, 49ers 10

(FOX) Bears (1-4) at Ravens (3-2) - I thought Trubisky was going to win this game, but then I remembered he's a rookie, but he played very well. I fully expect them to come out and be a little more effective against the Ravens, but ultimately succumb to that defense. Ravens 24, Bears 14

(CBS) Browns (0-5) at Texans (2-3) - I am actually liking both QB's for these teams. I think they could be really good, and not some temporary replacement for them. Too bad, the Browns are abysmal. I think they stay winless, thanks to the Texans. Texans 27, Browns 17

(FOX) Buccaneers (2-2) at Cardinals (2-3)- Even with the addition of Adrian Peterson, I am not sure the Cardinals run game will be good. The line, sucks. They don't give Carson enough time to throw the ball. They routinely play catch up. It's not a good team. Bucs, well their kicker lost them the game, missed what? 3 field goals last week. They are a much better team, and even though they played bad, still held the Patriots to a few points. Plus, this is the return of Dirk Koetter back to Arizona (Former ASU coach) so i think he has some tricks up his sleeve. Look for a high scoring game. Buccaneers 34, Cardinals 30

(FOX) Rams (3-2) at Jaguars (3-2) - Honestly, two up and coming teams that could very well be super bowl contenders in a few years, with the right moves. I am shocked both teams are 3-2. I think the Jaguars are the more complete team, minus the QB, but they have all the other pieces in place. This should be a defensive  game. Both teams have good defenses. I do think the Jags pull one out. Jaguars 20, Rams 14

(CBS) Steelers (3-2) at Chiefs (5-0) - Look, the Steelers have not played great. They actually play terrible against opponents they should beat. Chiefs, superb. I mean, they are really good. Does that mean they can win every week? No. And I really don't think the Steelers are going to let them have this one. I think it's a close game, and the Steelers somehow pull it out. Steelers 24, Chiefs 20

(CBS) Chargers (1-4) at Raiders (2-3) - Not sure what is going on with the Raiders, but if they want to turn it around, they can start now. They should beat the Chargers, but Rivers has a way of getting his team a win when they desperately need one. They need it. Still lose, though. haha Raiders 27, Chargers 17

(NBC) Giants (0-5) at Broncos (3-1) - Giants literally have nothing to play for, so go ahead and keep losing! Broncos 31, Giants 10

Monday October 16th

(ESPN) Colts (2-3) at Titans (2-3) - honestly, what the colts have been able to do without Andrew Luck should give them hope for the future. Titans on the other hand, baffled how they can be so bad, when they seemed like they were making strides last year. I think at home, monday night, the Titans can win, but they have to stop Brissett, or else they are going to be playing catchup. Titans 24, Colts 20
