NFL WEEK 10

Last week 8-5 season 83-59

Thoughts from last week

-Too many NFL fights and ejections last week.
- Eagles look like the team to beat.
-Rams look pretty good too. They've dropped a lot of points this season. Already more points than they scored last season.
-I thought the Bucs would take  step forward this season, they have not.
-Saints though, look out NFC South.
- Also, Jaguars. You haven't wilted under pressure yet.
-Browns, 49ers...you keep up that losing.
- Seahawks are not a dominant football team. That defense has aged.
- Dallas is surprising. I mean, they still have to play the Eagles twice. That defense, as usual, needs a serious upgrade though.
- i mean, how bad are the Giants.

Power Rankings

29. Buccaneers
28. Bears

Thursday November 9th

(NBC) Seahawks (5-3) at Cardinals (4-4)- I am surprised the Seahawks aren't 7-1 at this point. Lost games they should've won. Aren't scoring as much. Not protecting Wilson as much as they should. Cardinals, same. They could be a lot better, but poor play, and turnovers have killed them. No Carson Palmer, I don't like the chances of the Cardinals as the Seahawks come in and attempt to rebound from the loss at home last week. Seahawks 24, Cardinals 14

Sunday November 12th

(CBS) Saints (6-2) at Bills (5-3) - Bills are another one of those up and down teams. Don't let the 5-3 record fool you. They are not as good as their record indicates, and will be tested by a high scoring NFC South leading Saints team. I don't think it's a blowout, but I think the Saints go into Buffalo and win a close game. Saints 27, Bills 24

(FOX) Packers (4-4) at Bears (3-5) - In the NFL, one play away from being good, or being bad. Had the Packers had better protection, Rodgers wouldn't be hurt. One play changed their season. Now, they will be fighting the Bears for last place in the division. Hundley played good last week, but he needs to evade sacks, and step up in the pocket and throw the ball instead of dancing around back there. Packers win, but it won't be pretty. Packers 17, Bears 10

(CBS) Browns (0-8) at Lions (4-4) - My stance has not changed. Lions, finish them. Lions 31, Browns 17

(FOX) Bengals (3-5) at Titans (5-3) - Bengals have not been impressive. Matter of fact, I think ol Marvin Lewis will finally be on the hot seat. Bengals have underperformed for years. Sure, they've made the playoffs, but usually a quick out. Time for some change in Cincy. I think the Titans win this one. Titans 27, Bengals 12

(CBS) Steelers (6-2) at Colts (3-5) - Steelers continue their streak. The Colts have won more games than I thought they would. Steelers need to keep pace in the AFC if they want to snag one of those first round byes. They have to beat teams like this. Steelers 34, Colts 17

(CBS) Jets (4-5) at Buccaneers (2-6) - With the way they finished the season, and the personnel they added, I was certain the Bucs would be 6-2 at this point. Instead, they have regressed. Jets, well they aren't expected to compete in that division. They are still in rebuilding mode. They should knock off the Bucs though. Jets 24, Bucs 13

(FOX) Vikings (6-2) at Redskins (4-4) - Honestly, still surprised the vikings are good. The division now, is weak, but they are playing good. Reminder, they did this last season and sucked the rest of the way. To avoid that, they have to get consistent QB play. Just read that Bridgewater is practicing and he was good before he got hurt. Sam Bradford is always hurt. Redskins well, I can see them playing a close game, and possibly stealing it like they did in Seattle last week. Redskins 20, Vikings 17

(CBS) Chargers (3-5) at Jaguars (5-3) - Jaguars, gather round younglings. You see if you want to make it, you want to appear legitimate, these are games you have to win. Against low rung bottom feeders. The Chargers, are not good. You can beat them. You have to believe in yourself. Like that guy over there believes in you. Jaguars 24, Chargers 17

(CBS) Texans (3-5) at Rams (6-2) - Replace everything I just said about the Jaguars, with the Rams. Rams 37, Texans 9

(FOX) Cowboys (5-3) at Falcons (4-4) - Falcons are seeing the effect of the Super Bowl loser curse. Doesn't mean they won't win, but they are not good. Dallas has no one to stop Julio Jones. Matt Ryan has to be licking his wing, hoping to be able to throw down the field. Sorry Cowboys, you are going to get murdered. Falcons 34, Cowboys 14

(FOX) Giants (1-7) at 49ers (0-9) - Giants, I want to believe you'll win, but I don't believe you will. 49ers 17, Giants 6

(NBC) Patriots (6-2) at Broncos (3-5) - Broncos, for all the defense you have, that offense can not save you. Patriots 34, Broncos 10

Monday November 13th

(ESPN) Dolphins (4-4) at Panthers (6-3) - Dolphins suck. I hate Cam Newton, I hope both teams tie. Dolphins 7, Panthers 7.

Happy NFL Week 10
