NFL Week 13

Happy week 13!

Thoughts from Week 12

1. That Kirk Cousins guy is about to get paid.
2. The Cardinals are done. First time Coach Arians has had a losing record this late in the season.
3. Seattle? What happened in Tampa.
4. Cowboys continue to win. 10 games in a row. Which is crazy. Terrible part? Their defense is going to be the one to let them down in the playoffs. They need to address that defense in the offseason.
5. Browns, 4 games to finish what you've started.
6. Teams might want to steer clear of the Dolphins right now.
7. I thought the Vikings might take that game from the Lions, but the Lions, like the Dolphins, might not want to be tampered with right now.
8. How bout Da Raiders. They are pretty good. Again, another team that has defensive issues.
9. Texans, will lose that division. Colts or Titans could steal it.
10. So many playoff worthy teams from last season are really bad this season. Makes you wonder if the schedule is tougher, or if they were just a product of luck last season (Jets, Cardinals, Panthers).

Coaches with their ass to the fire

1. Jeff Fisher
2. Mike McCoy
3. Marvin Lewis
3a. Gus Bradley
4. Hue Jackson- Survive an 0-16 season. I doubt it.
5. Mike McCarthy

Top 5 Teams

1. Oakland
2. Dallas
3. New England
4. New York Giants
5. Kansas City Chiefs

Bottom 5 Teams

32. Browns
31. 49ers
30. Jaguars
29. Bears
28. Bengals

Last week 12-4 Woooooo

Thursday December 1st

(NBC) Cowboys (10-1) at Vikings (6-5) - Trap game on the horizon. Why? Look at the Vikings defense. Good enough to win games that matter. The Vikings are in a must win game. Started out 5-0, 1-5 since. Not really all on the defense, because the offense sucks. But, the defense sees this as a big, must win game. Sure you have two rookies playing for Dallas, and this is a test to see if the rookie wall is a real thing. I think it's a close game, that Dallas barely gets by.  Dallas 20, Vikings 17

Sunday December 4th

(CBS) Chiefs (8-3) at Falcons (7-4) - Honestly this is a game where we finally see if the Falcons are a legit playoff contender. Right now, they have a winning record, but they haven't really beat a playoff contending team. IF they want to be considered elite, this is a game they have to win. The Chiefs are a wildcard playoff team as of right now, if the Falcons want to legitimize their season, win this game. They won't though. Chiefs 24, Falcons 20

(FOX) Lions (7-4) at Saints (5-6) - Know how many of the Lions win are come from behind? if you said all 7, you're right. They haven't really lead a game start to finish, but yet they lead a weak NFC North division. Saints, well they are a product of a division that isn't great, but two 6plus win teams. I don't know if the Lions are for real, but to really seize that weak division, they need to win games like this. I think the Saints sneak a W this week. Saints 24, Lions 21

(FOX) Rams (4-7) at Patriots (9-2) - If anyone is expecting the Rams to go into New England and get a W, let me tell you this....

The Patriots are going to make the Rams limp all the way back to Los Angeles. Patriots 34, Rams 7

(CBS) Broncos (7-4) at Jaguars (2-9) - The Broncos need a bounce back game, and this is the perfect team (other than the Browns) to do that against. Broncos need this win to keep pace with the Chiefs and Dolphins for the wild card spot. Broncos 34, Jaguars 13

(CBS) Texans (6-5) at Packers (5-6) - Can the Packers run the table? Yes. Can the Texans win enough to win the division? No. They have a brutal schedule the last four games and they can barely finish at .500. Their offense is sputtering. The Packers, well their defense will be their demise. It's at Lambeau, only reason I'm picking the Packers. Packers 31, Texans 20

(FOX) Eagles (5-6) at Bengals (3-7-1) - Both teams, out of the playoff hunt. Neither can make it. So this is a game where it's for 1. Pride. 2. Draft position. Right now, the Bengals are locked into that 10th spot. They should just stay there. Eagles 27, Bengals 20

(CBS) Dolphins (7-4) at Ravens (6-5) - Both are in the playoff hunt. The Ravens, in a tight race for the division, and the Dolphins barely hanging on to that 6th playoff seed. Dolphins keep coming from behind and winning. This is a game they can jump out to a lead, and maintain. I think the Dolphins show they are legit this week. Dolphins 24, Ravens 16

(FOX) 49ers (1-10) at Bears (2-9) - Battle of two teams no one gives two ounces of monkey urine about. 49ers though, played great last week in defeat. Bears, well they just hibernated like 6 weeks ago and won't be coming out until free agency. 49ers pick up win numero dos. 49ers 28, Bears 10

(CBS) Bills (6-5) at Raiders (9-2) - Raiders are one of those teams that fly too close to the sun, hoping they don't get burned. 3 weeks in a row now. Eventually their luck will run out. The Bills are one of those teams that could pounce on the Raiders and hold them down defensively. Problem is, which Bills team shows up. They are not consistent week to week. Raiders, defensively they have a lot of problems. Offense keeps bailing them out. This week, they will score early and often. Raiders 34, Bills 20

(FOX) Giants (8-3) at Steelers (6-5) - Steelers want to keep pace, this is a must win game this late in the season. Giants will have some problems scoring. Finally some breakout scores for the Steelers high powered offense. Steelers 31, Giants 20

(FOX) Redskins (6-4-1) at Cardinals (4-6-1) - Cardinals are bad. Just bad. Offense. Defense. Every phase of the game is bad. The Redskins, well they lost a close game on the road in Dallas. I would like to believe they will win this week, but I think the Cardinals shut Kirk Cousins and that offense down. Cardinals 24, Redskins 17

(FOX) Buccaneers (6-5) at Chargers (5-6) - I would like to think that the Buccaneers build on their big, dominating win over the Seahawks, but they won't. They will lose. Chargers 24, Bucs 13

(NBC) Panthers (4-7) at Seahawks (7-3-1) - Boy that was a big letdown for Seattle last week. A game they have to win, but looked terrible in. Last season, the Panthers beat the Seahawks, twice. Does that happen this season? No. The Panthers are abysmal. The Seahawks, well they have this division wrapped up, but they don't look like a Super Bowl team. Especially the way the Bucs dressed them down last week. This will be a close game, and Seattle will win it. Seahawks 24, Panthers 20

Monday December 5th

(ESPN) Colts (5-6) at Jets (3-8)- Not a game I care to watch. Colts will win, basically because the Jets are an elephant poop of a team. Colts 27, Jets 17

Happy NFL Week 13!
